The Mars Finance Leadership Experience (MFLE) is a great start to develop both functional and leadership capabilities while experiencing various areas of finance. The program is a solid foundation for future finance talent who can later become a manager, lead a team, or fulfill themselves as an individual contributor in a strategic position.  You’ll take on roles with varying degrees of exposure and make decisions with real consequences.   The pace will be fast and require you to be agile, while preparing you for the challenges tomorrow.

The MFLE comprises of three 12-month rotations. As a guide, typically during the three years you will get exposed to different areas of Finance and to two Mars segments (Snacking, Pet, Food or Veterinary health).  Roles will vary across various finance departments that may include supply finance, demand finance, financial control or internal audit or contribute to our finance digitalization agenda.

 

After the three years you will be a versatile finance business partner and you can hold a strategic role within any of our segments or be on your way to being a finance manager with a team of your own.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Agile students who have a drive for results, a desire to learn, and who can quickly build relationships.
  • You have strong analytical skills and a keen interest in finance and/or accounting.
  • You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and bring a fresh viewpoint. 
  • Adaptable and creative problem solver.
  • Open to relocating to a different US location for at least one rotation during your program.  Mars can offer relocation support if you require a move that is greater than 51 miles from where you reside. 
  • Applicants should graduate with their Bachelor of Finance and/or Accounting degree between Winter 2023 and Spring 2023
  • Open to students legally authorized to work in the U.S., without the need for current or future work sponsorship (this includes H-1B, TN, O-1, F-1 visas and the CPT/OPT programs) need future sponsorship.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of drug & background screening.
