Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Engineer/Scientist for our Electrical Engineering & Computer Science Practice in Chicago, IL. 

You will be responsible for

  • Performing electrical engineering consulting services on an exciting array of projects that span a wide range of industries, including automotive, consumer products and consumer electronics, energy, oil & gas, and industrial processing
  • Generating testing protocols based on new product designs
  • Evaluating test results, methods of analysis, and testing protocols
  • Communicating technical information to diverse audiences, including preparation of technical reports and presentations

Experience is desired in, but not limited to, one or more of the following technical areas:

  • Circuit analysis and/or system design
  • Power electronics and/or systems
  • Control systems
  • Embedded systems
  • Root cause/failure analysis
  • Consumer product design
  • Industrial process control

You will have the following skills and qualifications

  • Ph.D. or M.S (with relevant experience) in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Applied Physics, or similar field
  • Hands-on experience with electronics hardware and/or software development
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    Ability to work independently or in multidisciplinary teams and the ability to support multiple projects simultaneously
  • Experience designing, constructing, and performing tests in a laboratory setting
  • Ability to gather information and convey technical conclusions to individuals in engineering, business, and related industry
