Entry Level Financial Analyst

Adara Communities is seeking an entry-level Financial Analyst to support the Asset Management Department and Operations with all aspects of real estate finance, budgeting, analytics, and reporting related to asset management, leasing, strategic endeavors, and new projects.

Our ideal candidate is a recent college graduate with 0-2 years of experience in a related field. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Adara is a family-owned company that has been in business for over 40 years. We are headquartered in north of Houston, Texas, and we are a fully integrated real estate firm providing services in multifamily property management. Our attention to detail and ability to access the most modern and up-to-date operating tools makes us one of the premier management companies in the country. Currently, our portfolio under management is located geographically in three states and seven major MSAs. We are operationally located throughout the United States, namely Texas, Florida, and Ohio.

This is a full-time position that requires the employee to be in the office Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Responsibilities of the Entry Level Financial Analyst:

  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for ownership on asset performance and trends.
  • Track key property metrics and effectively communicate the results of property financial and operational performance to leadership and with properties.
  • Prepare monthly operational and financial reports for investors and prepare quarterly property narratives.
  • Review financials and track property performance against budgets.
  • Conduct detailed market research and comparative analysis as needed.
  • Assist in the development and execution of actionable items and ad hoc projects on an ongoing basis.
  • Support the due diligence and closing of investment opportunities as they arise. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing lease documents, contracts, and walking physical units. Traveling may be required during due diligence.

Education and Experience of the Entry Level Financial Analyst:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Real Estate
  • 0-2 years of financial analyst or asset management experience
  • Graduation no more than 24 months prior to start date.

Skills of the Entry Level Financial Analyst:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to learn quickly, achieve results, and excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Self-directed and motivated, organized, and detail-oriented, with quick turnaround, follow-through, and follow-up.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and take direction from multiple senior managers.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and promote the adoption of best practices.
