Project Engineer
Job Summary
Manage capital projects as assigned. Design major improvements in mill. Supervise consultant engineers. Manage contractors in erecting / commissioning of new equipment. (Construction management). Work with maintenance providing technical assistance to troubleshoot, and / or maintain equipment. Work with IT department providing technical support to troubleshoot and / or maintain systems. Provides onsite training to maintenance and / or contract employees as required. Maintain, organize, and create documents.
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required; paper science and/or chemical mechanical engineer preferred.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret scientific or technical materials; ability to effectively present information to top management and all levels of the employee population
- Positive, optimistic, action-oriented individual with a “can do” work ethic.
- Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical capabilities.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills; interact well with all levels of organization.
