Staff Archaeologist

Responsible for conducting fieldwork and writing reports. May serve as Principal Investigator on survey and testing projects. Conducts archival research or field documentation and ensures the team is recording appropriate information or conducting appropriate analyses. Confidently identifies artifacts and recognizes natural and cultural features/stratigraphy. Prepare proposals. Presents papers at professional conferences.

Bachelor's degree in Archaeology or Anthropology or above. Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history. Preferred - Registered Archaeologist (RA).

Office location - El Paso, Texas and/or Las Cruces, New Mexico.
