Training and Development Manager

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 

  • Analyzes internal and external environment in order to establish annual training program offerings.
  • Designs and executes successful training programs by using traditional and modern training methods (classroom, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc.).
  • Fosters relationships with institutions of higher education to coordinate professional development and lifelong learning program partnerships at the aquarium, with an emphasis on supporting the efforts of the Institute for Wildlife Conservation.
  • Facilitates delivery of training by reserving and setting up training rooms, scheduling training times with attendees and instructors, and preparing and distributing training materials.
  • ​Provides Institute of Wildlife Conservation senior leadership with data reporting on a recurring and as requested basis.
