The Philadelphia office of Cozen O’Connor is looking for a bright, creative, client-service-oriented Marketing Coordinator to work with the Business Law Department as well as select industry teams. The successful candidate must possess excellent critical thinking skills and attention to detail to assist assigned practice groups and marketing colleagues. The candidate should be a self-starter, excel at multitasking, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The position is ideal for someone who wants to build a working knowledge of each practice group’s services and understand their unique strategy, priorities, and clients.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and edit customized pitches, as well as respond to other requests for marketing materials.
  • Create and maintain marketing collateral, practice group descriptions, web copy, and matter lists.
  • Drafts and coordinates award submissions and nominations.
  • Update practice descriptions, lawyer bios, news, events, and publication items on the firm website.
  • Support practice groups’ participation in seminars, conferences, association sponsorships, and other firm events.
  • Coordinates external sponsorships.
  • Provide competitive intelligence and complete analytics projects in conjunction with Library Services.
  • Maintain opportunities database related to pitches, proposals, and events; track results and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with other marketing, communications, and graphics team members and performs other duties as assigned.

 Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of three years of marketing and business development experience, preferably in a professional services industry.
  • Ability to think broadly and demonstrate a high level of initiative.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and balance competing demands and meet deadlines in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills and exacting attention to detail in all work products.
  • Proficiency in analyzing and summarizing articles, alerts, white papers, and similar publications.
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision.
  • Must be proficient in the use of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications. Database experience preferred.
  • Ability to work within a complex and multifaceted business environment.
