Eligible for a DOD Clearance, $ 149,000 to $ 210,000, On-site Fremont County, Colorado, Start-up Technology Company. Some travel required.

MTRON Research Labs Inc. offers one-year employment contracts with a 90-day probationary period. Each employment contract is renewable for up to 10 years. 

Position

The Electronic Engineer shall research, design, develop, and evaluate electronic components and systems for commercial, industrial, military, and scientific use employing knowledge of electronic theory and materials property. Designs electronic circuits and components for use in such fields as telecommunications, aerospace guidance and propulsion control, acoustics, and instruments and controls. Excludes Computer Hardware Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out feasibility studies for new technical developments.
  • Draw up project plans and circuit diagrams using computer-assisted engineering and design software.
  • Estimate costs and project timings.
  • Coordinate the work of technicians and craftspeople.
  • Test installations and systems, and analyze test data.
  • Analyze test results to develop new submersible products and components.
  • Coordinate efforts with other departments.
  • Conduct tests on new materials and prototypes.
  • Contribute to the development of new designs.
  • Design and assemble components and related systems..
  • Develop production methods.
  • Draft proposals for innovative designs.
  • Effective communications and project management abilities.
  • Establish and maintain quality and safety standards.
  • Write design proposals, manuals, reports, and other technical documents.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering is required.
  • Preferred is a Master of Science Degree or Doctoral Degree.
  • Excellent research, problem-solving, and thinking skills.
  • Exceptional planning expertise, project management, verbal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computers and engineering software.
  • Include your college years as years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of related fields.

  • Employee Stock Option Plan (ESOP): For each hour employed, employees are provided the opportunity to purchase company shares at $ 0.10 per share, par value of $ 4.00 per share. Each employee-owned equity share has a lock-up period of five years.
  • For every 2 weeks, alternating Fridays are off or 8 hours, with other days being 9-hour days.
