The MBSE Engineer will provide architecture and mission engineering input and expertise to technical development processes with the assistance of senior mission engineers. Position includes working with a wide variety of operational and technical organizations and utilizing integrated tools (e.g., architecture, modeling & simulation) to develop a holistic understanding of operational problems and how given technologies and technology concepts impact overall Fleet & Joint readiness. You will support both M&S and architecture development efforts in support of M41 tasking. Training in mission engineering principles is provided as tasking evolves.

Desired Skills include: 

  • Experience designing and developing Modeling and Simulation (M&S) tools
  • Knowledge of analysis and problem solving techniques necessary to perform professional scientific/engineering work
  • Experience in the functional decomposition of systems
  • Experience in Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) using Cameo/Magic Draw

Candidates should be pursuing or have obtained a B.S. or greater in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering or related engineering field.
