Location: Winston Salem, North Carolina

Job Summary: We are seeking an RF Engineer to join our growing team. As an RF Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development and integration of our quantum processor. We are seeking an individual with a deep enthusiasm for the field and a passion for working with newly discovered materials. This position is for visionaries eager to play a pivotal role in driving rapid growth, with your work paving the way for unparalleled technological development and career advancement as our company evolves.

Responsibilities: Collaborate on the development of qubit RF resonators, applying circuit quantum electrodynamics (QED) to the development of robust quantum bits, gates, and interface electronics with the goal of system integration, and benchmark testing. Aiding in the development of interface electronics. You will work towards creating a fully functional quantum processor.

  • PhD/ScD in Physics,  Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field; or previous relevant development experience.
  • Microwave & RF Control
  • Solid understanding of development of wave guides in RF resonant cavities.
  • Micro & Nanofabrication
  • Circuit Quantum Electrodynamics (QED)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or Qiskit.
  • Proficiency in simulation software such as COMSOL and ANSYS HFSS for RF circuit design and optimization.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Experience:

  • WiFi router and RF circuit design, development and optimization.
  • Experience in satellite communication, radar, or wireless tech.
  • Projects involving micro/nano-scale RF component fabrication.
  • Hands-on work with Circuit Quantum Electrodynamics experiments and simulations.
