K-6 Teacher (Multi Openings), Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Charlotte, NC. Prepare lessons and deliver meaningful student instruction at the primary (K-6) school level. Provide data driven instruction. Participate in grade level and content area meetings. Supervise students and ensure their safety. Communicate student progress to parents. Provide meaningful small group instruction. Build meaningful relationships with students and their parents. Support students with the acquisition of 21st century skills. Support the social emotional needs of students. Participate in school and district Professional Development (PD). Attend school-based family events. Work M-F, 8am – 4pm with occasional evening and weekend work for parent and student events. Requires at least a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Education (Middle Grades), or related field or foreign equivalent. Must have or be eligible for NC Elementary Education (K-6) license.
