Programs Facilitator  
The position for an Programs Facilitator will be at East Central ISD for the 2024-2025 school year. All individuals (district employees included) who are interested in this position must apply online through Frontline via the district website. POSITION FUNCTION/PURPOSE:  Train, develop, and collaborate with staff to implement comprehensive academic and behavioral supports.     

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 

  1. Train, develop, and collaborate with staff for the successful implementation of student accommodations.
  2. Coordinate with Academic Dean/Facilitator in facilitating PLC/data meetings.
  3. 504 Coordinator.
  4. MTSS facilitator (campus/district).
  5. RTI facilitator (campus/district).
  6. Bilingual/TELPAS (LPAC) coordinator.
  7. GPC coordinator.
  8. Member of Tier I & II behavior committees.
  9. Campus testing coordinator.
  10. Coordinate testing accommodations across programs for consistency and accuracy.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education/Certification:
Master’s degree preferred
Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation
Ability to interpret data and evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness
Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
3 years of successful classroom experience

 
EQUIPMENT USED:  Standard office equipment including personal computer and peripherals
    
WORKING CONDITIONS:  Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:  Maintain emotional control under stress; work with frequent interruptions.  Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.  Repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding, and use of a mouse; occasional reaching.  Occasional light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds).  Move small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desks, and other classroom or adaptive equipment.  May be required to lift and position students with physical disabilities; control behavior through physical restraint; and on-ambulatory students.  Exposure to biological hazards.  Frequent district-wide travel; occasional statewide travel.
                            
PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT:  2024-2025 School Year
SALARY:  Based on 2024-2025 Classroom Teacher Salary Scale plus stipend
