Salary Grade: Business Grade 07/ BG-07

Position Summary: Provide and coordinate athletic training services to high school and junior high student athletes in Tulsa Public Schools as well as employees of the district. Is a clinical site preceptor for athletic training students from the collegiate/university level as needed. Ensure athlete compliance of submission of physical forms and participation forms as required by the OSSAA and OSDE.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
• Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in sports medicine or related
field
Experience:
• Previous experience working with coaches and athletes
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.:
• Athletic Trainer’s Certification by the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Board of
Certification (NATABOC)
• Licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Oklahoma (LAT) or eligible for licensure within
180 days of hire
• Member in good standing with the Oklahoma Athletic Trainer’s Association
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 100lbs.
Other:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Office Suite
• Proficient in Rank One software
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Teacher Certification is a plus
