Outside Sales Representative

We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, determined individual to join our RocK’n F Team! Sales Representatives work to identify, engage, and close new business opportunities with prospective customers in an inside and outside sales capacity.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining new customers and maintaining customer relations while providing exceptional service.
  • Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
  • Sales activity will include sales phone calls, emails, contacts, visits, messages, and opportunity updates.
  • Partner internally to build solutions for customers, including pricing, implementation, and future growth opportunities.
  • Interpret and communicate information to internal dispatchers.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
  • Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Preferred Skills:

  • Prior knowledge of transportation, logistics, oilfield or similar preferred
  • Industry specific background is preferred (Steel, Oil & Gas, Construction)
  • Prior Trucking Management Systems knowledge is preferred.

Schedule:

  • Full-time
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Required)
  • Overnight travel Tuesday - Thursday

Work Location: In-office Mondays & Fridays
