Middle School 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher
Monte Vista School District is accepting applications for a Middle School 6th Grade Social Studies Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.
Desired qualifications and experience include:
- Current Colorado Teaching License (with either Elementary or Social Studies endorsement)
- Knowledge of best practices in social studies instruction
- Experience teaching students of varying abilities
- Collaborative approach to lesson design and problem solving
- Ability to work well with others
- Self-motivated
- Organized, yet flexible
- Knowledge of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Restorative Justice and Capturing Kids Hearts
