VP of Kid Explorer Club Experience

Objectives of the Role:

As the VP of Kid Explorer Club Experience, your primary objective is to ensure that every child who participates in our programs has an enriching and memorable experience. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of all aspects of the Kid Explorer Club experience, from program design and curriculum development to staff training and customer satisfaction. Your goal is to create a positive and inclusive environment where children feel inspired, supported, and excited to learn.

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of Kid Explorer Club programs, ensuring alignment with our mission, values, and educational objectives.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to design innovative and engaging curriculum that caters to the diverse needs and interests of our students.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of Kid Explorer Club staff, including educators, counselors, and program coordinators.
Monitor program delivery and participant feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement enhancements as needed.
Work closely with marketing and communications teams to promote Kid Explorer Club programs and events, ensuring strong brand visibility and customer engagement.
Establish and maintain relationships with parents, schools, and community organizations to drive program enrollment and foster a sense of belonging within the Kid Explorer Club community.
Stay informed about current trends and best practices in education, enrichment, and child development to inform program design and delivery.
Manage budgets, resources, and logistics to ensure the efficient and effective operation of Kid Explorer Club programs and facilities.
Represent Kid Explorer Club at conferences, events, and industry forums to raise awareness and build partnerships.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in education, enrichment, or youth development, with a proven track record of program leadership and management.
Strong understanding of child development principles, educational pedagogy, and best practices in curriculum design.
Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and parents.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build positive relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strategic thinker with a creative approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Proficient in project management, budgeting, and data analysis.
Passion for working with children and a genuine desire to make a difference in their lives.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Experience working in a startup or entrepreneurial environment.
Familiarity with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education and project-based learning.
Knowledge of social-emotional learning (SEL) principles and practices.
Experience with program evaluation and assessment tools.
Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards for youth programs.
