Computer and Information Research Scientist 

Eligible for a DOD Clearance, $ 149,300 to 210,300 annually, On-site Fremont County, Colorado, Start-up Technology Company. Some travel required.  

Company 

MTRON Research Labs Inc. prototypes, researches, and produces Quantum Physics Solutions. We may be awarded a ten-year $ 750 MM DOD contract that exploits our combat proven, proprietary technology. Website: www.meccatron.com

MTRON Research Labs Inc. offers one to five-year employment contracts with a 90-day probationary period. Each employment contract is renewable for up to 10 years.   

  

MTRON Research Labs is an environmentally friendly company. We have planned for power generation through solar panels and wind turbines. 

  

Position 

The Computer Scientist engages in the technical study, experimentation, and exploration of technological fields as artificial intelligence, robotics, and virtual reality. Engages and thinks through complex mathematical problems and challenges, aiming to improve the performance of computer systems and software. 

Responsibilities 

  • Applies AI Techniques for project design and planning. 
  • Develops new products and solves practical computing problems. 
  • Conducts research involving experimentation and modeling. 
  • Thinks through and conceptualizes computational and math related problems. 
  • Designs and implements algorithms and data structures to solve complex computational problems. 
  • Collaborates with other researchers that includes programmers, IT Professionals, engineers, and scientists to solve problems and creates new products. 
  • Analyzes and interprets data to derive meaningful insights to inform decision-making processes.  •         Tests and evaluates computer systems and software to ensure functionality, reliability, and security. 
  • Keeps up to date with the latest advancements in technology and continuously expands knowledge and skills. 
  • Mentors and provides guidance to junior team members or students pursuing studies in computer science. 
  • Adheres to ethical standards and maintains the security and privacy of data and systems. 
  • Writes documentation and status reports. 

Qualifications  

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science is required. 
  • A Master’s Degree or Ph.D is preferred. 
  • Excellent research, problem-solving, and thinking skills.   
  • Exceptional planning expertise, project management, verbal and communication skills. 
  • Proficiency with computers and data analysis software.   
  • Include your college years as years of experience. 
  • Strong understanding of related fields.
