Job Summary

 

Supervise, direct, and manage all athletic fundraising activities for the Athletic Foundation that supports the Department of Athletics. Administer leadership for all fundraising efforts, annual fund programs, premium seating sales, and planned giving. Serve as a member of the Athletic Department's Executive Staff and serve as a sport administrator for multiple sports. Provide consultation to the Director of Athletics on fundraising related initiatives and efforts.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Supervise, manage, and direct all activities and initiatives for the Athletic Foundation

• Manage a portfolio of 100-150 prospects in active cultivation/solicitation, with 20-30 major gift solicitations annually

• Administer leadership for all fundraising efforts, annual fund programs, premium seating sales, and planned giving

• Serve as a sport administrator for multiple sports

• Serve as point-of-contact for members of the Georgia Southern Athletic Foundation Board

• Provide oversight to lifetime giving point calculation

• Develop and administer annual fundraising events

• Oversee the 'Soar to Six' campaign aimed at identifying 6,000 members of the Erk Russell Fund

• Report financials, develop a communication plan, and establish a yearly calendar of meetings for the GSAF Board

• Create innovative strategies to increase support for Athletics programs and enhance University's loyal fan base

 

Required Qualifications

 

Educational Requirements

 

• Bachelor's Degree

 

Required Experience

 

• Seven (7) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary

 

$91,100 - $127,900

 

This an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
