Junior Graphic Designer

Overview:

Kickstart your graphic design career at Mason Interactive, a cutting-edge marketing firm headquartered in NYC with a vibrant office in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are seeking a creative and motivated Junior Graphic Designer to join our 30-person team. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects across digital and print media for a diverse range of clients in industries like B2B, eCommerce, and higher education.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Graphic and Digital Design:

  • Design and execute creative and impactful digital ads, incorporating animations and interactive elements.
  • Create compelling graphics and layouts for social media platforms, enhancing our clients' engagement and brand visibility.
  • Assist in the development and production of print collateral and point-of-sale (POS) materials that meet client specifications and deadlines.

Project Collaboration:

  • Work collaboratively with a team of designers and marketers to brainstorm and implement creative solutions for client campaigns.
  • Participate in project briefings and client meetings to better understand project scopes and objectives.

Client and Internal Communication:

  • Support the team in preparing presentations and pitches for new client acquisitions and ongoing projects.
  • Attend and actively participate in client meetings, providing input and receiving feedback on design projects.

Position Requirements:

  • Residency within commuting distance to our office, in line with our hybrid work model which requires in-office attendance.
  • 1-2 years of relevant graphic design experience, with at least one year of professional work experience
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • A degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent training.

  • Strong creative vision with an eye for detail and a passion for design.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting ideas and designs clearly.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, handling multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality.
  • A team player with the ability to work collaboratively and adapt to feedback.
