Regional Outside Sales Representative

The Regional Sales Representative will be able to develop and maintain a complete knowledge of Del Conca USA sales, products, and marketing functions including, but not limited to:

  •  Meet all sales objectives, campaigns and promotions, sales presentations needs/requirements. 
  •  Sell all headquarter-authorized programs, as well as incremental selling opportunities, growing the business. 
  •  Develop strong business relationships with existing and new customers to provide service and value beyond the customer's expectations.   Communicate plans and effectively manage merchandising resources to build sales volume. 
  •  Work with all Sales Agents to facilitate new business leads.
  •  Interact with Customer Service/Sales to ensure strong customer satisfaction is always achieved. 
  • Attend trade shows – performing all related trade show functions to include set up and breakdown, etc.
  • Develop and implement targeted strategies to penetrate and expand the existing business.
  • Provide in-depth training on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends to sales team members to ensure they are equipped to effectively promote and sell our product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to create tailored sales materials, presentations, and collateral to support sales efforts.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in the DC USA product portfolio.
  • Actively participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to represent the company and promote DC USA product portfolio.
  • Track and report on sales performance, market share, and other relevant KPIs to measure the success of product portfolio business initiatives.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Successful candidates must possess a minimum, of three (3) years of sales representative experience, preferably in the ceramics tile industry. 
  • Must be able to work independently with little immediate direction at most times.
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically extensively and occasional international travel (up to 75%).
  • Must possess strong Microsoft office skills to include WORD, Excel, and PowerPoint.  SAP experience is beneficial.
  • Must possess a valid US driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Previous experience in outside sales and customer service required.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Reside within the sales region (preferably in the Greater Knoxville, TN area)
  • Ability to work independently & be self-motivated to achieve goals.
  • Must possess or could successfully obtain a US passport.
  • Must be able to lift-up to 50 lbs. and stand on your feet for extended periods of time.
