Entry Level Mechanical Engineer

Overview:

We have currently received a handful of engineering openings ranging from 0-2 years of experience. If you have an interest or desire to get into the marine/shipbuilding industry and would like to be a part of the team building the next aircraft carriers and submarines for the US Navy, this is your opportunity! These will be supporting our client Huntington Ingalls Industries in Newport News, VA.

 

Description:

  • Analyzes, researches and develops structural engineering specifications involving metals, non-metallic or composite structural materials for product design, or operation of product to include structures, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronics, power plant, armament, heating and ventilating, equipment and maintenance designs.
  • Analyzes damage tolerance, durability, design allowables and structural modeling. Specific structural engineering specialties may include dynamics and loads, stability and stress fatigue and thermal analysis.

Qualifications:

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • ABET Engineering Degree required.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
    • 2 openings for entry level.
    • 2 openings for 2 years of experience.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Team player.

Additional Information:

  • Will be supporting new aircraft carrier and submarine construction for the US Navy.
  • Multiple openings available.
  • Pay Rate: $30-$44/hr based on experience.
