utilizes the Beyond Textbooks framework to plan, organize, and implement an instructional program in conjunction with the regular education teachers that addresses the Arizona Academic Standards for students with disabilities;

develops and maintains positive working relationships with students, families, and staff;

assesses student learning and differentiates instruction accordingly;

establishes and maintains an effective classroom management system;

provides supervision and direction for special education paraprofessional;

remains knowledgeable of special education laws and regulations;

leads student IEP teams;

maintains all special education paperwork;

communicates effectively orally and in writing;

integrates relevant technologies into the learning environment;

participates and grows from instructional coaching and other professional learning opportunities;

serves as an adult mentor in our RCA House system;

performs all other related work delegated or required to accomplish the objectives of the total school program.
