Job Summary

 

Provide support to the Center for Business Analytics and Economic Research (CBAER) to perform community research, complex studies, and analyses using a wide range of standard research instruments, techniques, and methodologies specific to assigned area of study. Occasionally assist community and business leaders with targeted efforts to reach community development goals.

 

Employment is contingent upon funding.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Conduct self-directed and directed research as described in contracts, grants, and other external funding agencies.

• Assist in the development of manuscripts and presentations containing results of assigned research findings.

• Edit and review project proposals, presentations, and reports.

• Monitor project progress and associated workflows.

• Develop data series as appropriate to project needs and requirements.

• Assist with managing assignments to graduate assistants and student employees as needed.

 

Required Qualifications

 

Educational Requirements

 

• Bachelor's Degree

 

Required Experience

 

• One (1) or more years of related work experience

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

Preferred Educational Qualifications

 

• Master's Degree in Business, Economics, Public Administration, or Psychology

 

Preferred Experience

 

• Previous experience with JobsEQ, IMPLAN, and/or statistical software like SPSS or SAS

 

Proposed Salary

 

$17.54 - $21.97 per hour

 

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
