Job Summary
This position serves as a functional administrator for our Ad Astra room scheduling software, as well as provides administrative support and managerial leadership for the Catalog and Course Scheduling area.
Responsibilities
• Utilize and maintain the Ad Astra scheduling system\
• Coordinate and is responsible for academic room scheduling using Ad Astra scheduling software, including monitoring and adjusting rooms as necessary for class size and departmental requests, resolving scheduling, and classroom conflicts; adapt, combine, and improve services, processes, or programs
• Develop and deliver training and perform technical maintenance related to the publication of the undergraduate and graduate catalogs using the curriculum management system; Create and maintain course information in Banner; create and maintain program information in the curriculum management system; provide historical course and program information as requested; train department administrators on the Schedule of Classes, Acalog, Curriculog, and Ad Astra Room Scheduling processes
• Provide administrative and managerial leadership in all areas of curriculum development across the institution; ensure proper oversight and adherence to university policies, procedures, and regulations regarding information submitted by Senate committees, departments, deans, and their committees
• Build and maintain approved university workflow processes in the curriculum management system; oversee the academic postings process; monitor the distribution of approved curricular information to appropriate university officials; coordinate and ensure adherence to curriculum deadlines; provide curriculum guidance as a non-voting member of the Undergraduate
• Curriculum Committee and the Core Curriculum Subcommittee
• Supervise Registrar Specialists including performance reviews, training, planning, and directing the work of support staff, and provides significant input into hiring decisions

• Three (3) or more years of related work experience

• One (1) to two (2) or more years of administrative support experience in higher education
• Experience with Banner student information system database and/or Ad Astra schedule software a plus
• Experience with Adobe Acrobat DC, Adobe InDesign, Banner, Google Suites, and/or Modern Campus Curriculum software
Proposed Salary
$43,067 - $43,500
This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
