The Manager II in American Indian Education will work as an integral part of the Department of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to directly support American Indian students in our school district. The Manager II will utilize their experience working with Native American tribes and communities to develop and implement projects, programs, trainings, and other supports necessary to strengthen the American Indian Education program. As a Manager II, the individual will use their extensive knowledge of Native American communities to deliver trainings and provide high-level support to both district staff and students on matters related to Native American students (American Indian and Alaska Native) and Native American communities. The Manager II will also work in collaboration with the DEI Department to strengthen the overall program.
Requirements:
- Any combination equivalent to: bachelor's degree and five years increasingly responsible supervisory and/or management or related experience in area of specialty; Administrative Services Credential and Teaching Credential preferred.
- Valid California driver's license.
- Valid California Administrative Services Credential and/or Teacher's Credential may be required based on assignments and/or area(s) of responsibility.
