Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete developmental assignments in your assigned area under senior-level IT staff guidance.
  • Engage in special projects outlined by the department manager.
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain application software while collaborating with internal clients and business systems analysts to ensure system functionality.
  • Work on smaller, minimally complex projects or tasks within larger projects.
  • Participate in project teams, potentially within the Applications or Infrastructure department.
  • Communicate effectively within and outside the IT Department.
  • Collaborate with the quality assurance department to align applications with system specifications.
  • Develop software application modules following standard guidelines.
  • Stay informed about risks within your functional area and adhere to policies and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Experience: 0-6 months of related work or internship experience.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze problems and draw valid conclusions.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in report writing, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Proven teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated interest and proficiency in information technology.
  • Problem-solving skills and proficiency in MS Office tools: Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
