Marketing Coordinator

Position Summary:

Responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating marketing programs, promotions, and special events to maximize visibility, engagement and sales for WiseChoice Foods and related brands. We approach all promotions with gratitude and a fun, light-hearted perspective so we can related our brand to new and existing customers with opportunities that drive trial and repurchase behaviors. Once a new customer tries WisePies Pizza, they become a customer for life!

Responsibilities include:

  • Assists in developing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating promotions and special events for WiseChoice Foods and related brands.
  • Investigates and implements new and exciting promotions and special events.
  • Reports the effectiveness and profitability of all special events and promotions in a timely manner.
  • Maintains tasks, timeliness, and calendar schedules for upcoming promotions, special events, and direct mail events. 
  • Establishes and maintains vendor relationships when coordinating, promoting, and producing promotions and special events.
  • Coordinates all staff members and or volunteers needed for special events and promotions.
  • Sets up and executes trade shows, promotional events and giveaways.
  • Works directly with accounting to order items and supplies for all events and maintains accurate inventories.
  • Responsible for all creative work orders.
  • Works directly with the creative development team to effectively and timely develop communications targeting the correct audience through various media types: social media, print, TV, digital, in-event materials, sales materials, and others as they may apply.
  • Manages all social media accounts with timely post development, responses to posts/inquiries, and boosting based on approved timelines.
  • Maintains and updates copy, content, and graphics.
  • Manages WiseRewards loyalty program to provide engaging and valuable content to consumers.
  • Develops employee communication materials and promotional rules.
  • For ecommerce, manages all promo codes or special offers.
  • Maintains all marketing messaging across all media and is responsible for timely posting and removal.
  • Communicates with applicable departments when coordinating special events and promotions.
  • Investigates, locates, and purchases all supplies and materials for all special events, trade shows, and promotions.
  • Promotes positive guest relations through prompt, courteous, and efficient responses on social media as well as the info email box.
  • Maintains a friendly and inviting atmosphere and promotes positive relations with vendors/partners through prompt, courteous, and efficient service.
  • Responsible for program documents detailing all information on all promotions, marketing programs, and special events.
  • Assists and participates in marketing & sales functions, as required.
  • Occasionally performs other duties, as needed to support overall operations and team responsibilities.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Must be familiar with retail/food service food industry
  • Ability to achieve the highest standards of customer service in all situations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with a strong attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Meeting scheduling and documentation — entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in electronic form.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills, effective time management skills and meet deadlines.
  • Some graphic design experience is a plus. 

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in business, communications, or marketing.
  • Two (2) years communications, advertising, or marketing experience. Food industry experience is a plus. 
  • Must be an experienced user of various word processing, spreadsheet, email, and Internet software.
