About the Role:
The Calibration Technician II will be responsible for the use a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, jigs, test equipment and work instructions to correlate the readings of a specific instrument to those of a known standard to check for accuracy and/or drift. This position relies primarily on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the job functions.
This position is part of the Operations team located in Bellevue, WA and will be onsite.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Use proprietary software to view daily work assignments, begin and end calibrations, track instrument data, and track equipment performance
- Operate hardware such as manual deadweight pressure testers, hydraulic pressure testers, ovens, chillers, calibration bath hardware, pressure vessels, etc.
- Interpret calibration results and evaluate sensor performance without oversight
- Understand and meet quality and delivery requirements
Are you qualified?
- 2 year technical degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of related work experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn new computer software programs
- Excellent electro-mechanical skills, including troubleshooting
- Excellent attention to detail, and ability to perform precise procedures consistently
- Knowledge of necessary instruments and tools
