Job Title: SEO Specialist with AI and WordPress Expertise

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our team and manage SEO strategies for client websites. This role involves optimizing client websites for search engines, improving rankings, and driving measurable results. The ideal candidate is experienced with WordPress, on-site SEO, and content optimization and is eager to explore the use of AI tools to enhance workflows. You’ll help streamline SEO tasks, ensuring our clients achieve their digital marketing goals.

Our company leverages AI extensively to improve efficiency, and while experience with AI tools is not required, it’s a valuable asset. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Learn more about us at NewSunSEO.com.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and optimize content for client websites using AI tools and best practices.
  • Perform on-site SEO tasks such as optimizing meta tags, headers, image alt text, and implementing schema markup.
  • Conduct keyword research to align content and SEO strategies with client goals.
  • Use WordPress to manage client website updates, ensure proper functionality, and implement SEO recommendations.
  • Perform regular SEO audits of client websites to identify and resolve technical and content issues.
  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to enhance client domain authority.
  • Monitor and analyze website traffic and SEO performance using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Optimize local SEO efforts for clients, including managing Google Business Profiles and local citations.
  • Provide actionable recommendations based on competitive analysis and industry trends.
  • Prepare monthly performance reports for clients showcasing SEO improvements and results.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in SEO, content optimization, and WordPress management.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content generation (e.g., Jasper, ChatGPT, or others) is a plus but not required.
  • Strong understanding of Google Analytics, Search Console, and other SEO tools.
  • Ability to conduct thorough keyword research and analyze SEO data effectively.
  • Knowledge of technical SEO, including site speed optimization, crawl errors, and schema markup.
  • Experience with link-building strategies and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills for client-facing updates and reporting.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Local SEO strategies tailored to small businesses.
  • Knowledge of social media marketing as it relates to SEO.
  • Ability to create professional SEO performance reports for clients.
  • Familiarity with basic graphic design tools for editing website visuals (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
