You will …

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Write programs in C++, Java, CodeSYS, including navigating, configuring and troubleshooting Linux systems
  • Design, install, optimize, and adapt electronic control systems and instruments to automate and monitor industrial processes
  • Develop technical design, process diagram, SCADA block diagram, and control schematic to implement automation controls
  • Configure systems using PLC and HMI techniques
  • Model, tests, and measures output and data to analyze performance or quality issues and develop solutions
  • Create, review, process Engineering Change Requests (ECR), updates documentation including drawings, models, bill of materials, quotes and engineering summaries utilizing CAD Systems and ERP software

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college in Engineering or relevant field. Other combinations of education and experience may be considered as equivalent
  • Certifications in SolidWorks (i.e. CSWA, CSWP, CSWE, CPPA, etc) and/or Engineering in Training (EIT), preferred
  • Good problem solving and analytic skills (i.e., can conduct root cause analysis, make recommendations, and track results).
  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing continuous improvement methodologies
  • Ability to write and document manufacturing process, inspection, and testing procedures
  • Capability to communicate, coach, and train shop floor team members on processing information
  • Basic knowledge of automation and electronics components and electronic assemblies
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical personnel
  • Ability to lift 25 Pounds, on occasion up to 50 Pounds
