Licensed Dietician
Our 5-star rated, fast-paced, integrative health clinic is looking to add a licensed Dietician to our collaborative care team. This position is fully supported with eHR, reception staff, a CNA/MA team, a third party insurance billing team, and an on-site supplement dispensary. Our clinic takes insurance, including Medicaid.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, developing individualized care plans, and providing dietary education to patients and their families. This role is essential in promoting health and wellness across various settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, and acute care environments.
Job Duties Include:
- Conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients, including diagnostic evaluations to determine dietary needs.
- Developing and implementing personalized care plans that address the specific nutritional requirements of each patient.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to support weight loss programs and other dietary interventions.
- Educating patients and their families about nutrition-related topics.
- Monitoring patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
- Performing diagnostic evaluations effectively to assess dietary requirements
Job Requirements Include:
- Active Dietician license
- Must be willing to be contracted with and accept insurance
- Complying with all health and safety regulations, and maintaining a current and active license
- Adhering to professional ethics and standards of practice
- Basic marketing to boost client base and serve more members of our community (attending networking events, blogging, etc.) This can look different for each provider and we’re happy to discuss it further in an interview!
- Respect for and collaboration with staff in a team environment
- In-depth knowledge of nutrition and diet principles, modalities, and therapies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Empathy and compassion to provide personalized and patient-centered care
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess complex conditions and develop effective treatment plans
- Organizational skills to manage patient caseload and maintain records
