Job Type: Part-time/Full-time

Location: Newport Beach and or San Juan Capistrano

Job Description:

We are looking for a versatile and passionate STEM Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will tutor students in a variety of STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), helping them succeed academically and develop a deep understanding of STEM concepts.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one or group tutoring sessions in a range of STEM subjects, including but not limited to Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, and Mathematics (from Algebra to Calculus).

Develop tailored lesson plans based on students' learning needs and academic goals.

Help students prepare for exams, assignments, and standardized tests (e.g., AP exams, SAT, ACT).

Foster a supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and critical thinking.

Track student progress and communicate with students and/or parents to discuss improvements and areas of concern.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Biology, Chemistry).

Ability to tutor across multiple STEM disciplines.

Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.

Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Familiarity with AP-level coursework and/or standardized test prep is a plus.

Skills:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain complex concepts in an understandable manner.

Patience and adaptability to work with students at different skill levels.
