Job description
DigiM Solution LLC, a world leader in microscopic imaging, image analysis, and image-based modeling, is seeking to fill a few immediate openings of application scientists to help support our rapidly growing business.
An Application Scientist will focus on matching DigiM’s software and solutions to specific needs in pharmaceutical and materials characterization, and providing top level customer support in imaging, image analysis, and image-based modeling. As an Application Scientist, you will assume a broad range of scientific and business responsibilities, including helping clients understand the application of image analytics to their product development, working with R&D team to improve DigiM’s solution to better meeting the client’s needs, and supporting decisions in technical marketing and business development.

Experience critical to success:
- A degree in pharmaceutical science, material science, chemical engineering, or other science and engineering disciplines.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are mandatory.
- Demonstrated record in publications and professional presentations.
- Enthusiastic about communicating and helping customers.
- Willing and attentive learner.
- Passionate about technology.
Preferred background and skills includes,
- A Graduate degree is strongly preferred.
- At least 1 year of project management skills, including project specification development, project execution, schedule management, team coordination, and project reporting.
- At least 1 year of experience in numerical modeling.
- Experience in at least one of the following: imaging, image analysis, drug development experience, FDA experience
- Customer facing experience
Tasks and Duties:
- Lead project management in the pharmaceutical industry
- Assists various business and marketing effort related to pharmaceutical industry
- Participate and present at conferences.
- Actively contribute to the product roadmap and company direction by compiling and reporting key customer requirements and market trends.
Travel:
5%-25%
Compensation:
$70K-$120K
Compensation is experience and background dependent. Benefits include a competitive base salary, performance-based commission, retirement plan, healthcare, paid vacation, and future stock options.
