Job description

• Perform Bridge Design projects for NYC Metro region clients.

• Daily tasks include drawing development, coordination between disciplines, internal meetings, and structural design.

• Development of structural drawings, specifications, and calculations for rehabilitation and new construction of roadway and highway bridges.

• Perform site inspections and condition assessments of existing bridges and structures under construction.

• Coordinate between various disciplines, development of contract drawings and specifications.

Required Skills and Experience

• Licensed NYS PE preferred.

• Bachelor’s degree in science in Civil Engineering from accredited college

• Qualified for ASCE Grade IV and above

• Approximately 3-5 years project engineering experience, from design development to opening, including at least one completed high profile bridge project.

• Experience working in integrated teams and complex analysis tools for Structural design.

• Experience working with NYSDOT, NYCDOT, MTA, and/or PANYNJ preferred.
