The Position:

LADACIN Network’s School Program is currently seeking a music teacher to work with students with multiple disabilities. Music instruction focuses on a multisensory approach and is aligned with our curriculum, Unique Learning System. The music instruction works cohesively with our transdisciplinary approach (educational, therapeutic and medical) to meet the goals of each individual student. The successful candidate will be responsible for general music classes, directing/rehearsing shows and small group instrumental lessons.

Experience with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred.

Qualifications:

1. Valid New Jersey Instructional Certificate with Subject Matter Specialization Endorsement.

2. Demonstrated knowledge of effective teaching methods for students with disabilities.

3. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment.

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.

The Location:

LADACIN is based in Monmouth and Ocean counties. Our locations are in beautiful natural surroundings. This location is in Monmouth County.
