Hobbies Instructor
Overview:
The Life Interest Instructor develops and delivers interactive, skill-based classes or workshops for participants of all ages. They are responsible for designing and implementing the curriculum for the programs they propose, ensuring high-quality and engaging experiences for the community. Example program areas include cooking, arts and crafts, creative writing, photography, or sewing.

Responsibilities:
• Design and submit a curriculum for the program/course prior to each session.
• Plan and lead classes or workshops that engage and inspire participants.
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive, and safe environment for participants.
• Manage materials and provide a list of supplies if applicable.
• Evaluate participant feedback and adjust classes to improve offerings.
Qualifications:
• Expertise in the subject matter they plan to teach.
• Experience leading workshops or classes in the program area.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt and provide creative solutions in class settings.
Working Hours:
• Classes typically run 6-8 weeks per session.
• Average hours: 2-4 hours per week.
• Flexible schedule required, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

Due to the nature of a government providing services to the public all duties of this position are required to be fulfilled at the designated worksite in the town. No remote work is available.
