Painting Teacher

Art & Soul Studio is a creative space dedicated to inspiring artists. We offer a variety of classes and workshops throughout the year for artists of all ages. 

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Painting Teacher to join our vibrant art studio. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting techniques, an ability to teach and inspire students of various skill levels, and a genuine enthusiasm for fostering creativity in a supportive and engaging environment. As a Painting Teacher, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge, help students develop their artistic abilities, and contribute to the creative community we cultivate at Art & Soul Stuido.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and deliver engaging painting lessons for students of all ages and skill levels (beginner to advanced).

- Teach various painting techniques and styles, including but not limited to oil painting, acrylic painting, watercolor.

- Design and implement curriculum plans, taking into consideration the interests and learning styles of students.

- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment.

- Organize and prepare materials for each class.

- Promote a supportive atmosphere where students can express themselves creatively.

- Stay up to date with new techniques, trends, and developments in the world of painting and art education.

**Qualifications:**

- Proven experience teaching painting in a classroom or studio setting.

- Strong proficiency in a variety of painting mediums (oil, acrylic, watercolor, etc.).

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs and abilities.

- Passion for art and education, with a genuine desire to inspire and nurture the creative talents of others.

- A portfolio showcasing personal artistic work and teaching abilities is preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Experience working with students of all ages (children, teens, and adults).

- Experience in developing and adapting curriculum for diverse learners.

- Knowledge of modern and classical painting techniques and art history.

**Compensation:**

Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
