Physical Therapist
Comprehensive Medical Care, is currently seeking a full time Physical Therapist to join its team. Qualified candidates should possess a full understanding of an outpatient orthopedics clinic and have experience working with the general population. Additional certifications are a plus, but not required. Sign on Bonus of $5,000.
About the Company:
We are a multi-specialty outpatient rehabilitation practice, which allows our Medical Providers to work together to achieve the common goal of rehabilitation. Our team consists of Pain Management , Regenerative Medicine, Chiropractors, Physical and Occupational Therapists, Acupuncturists and Athletic Trainers.
Job Responsibilities of a Physical Therapist:
- Evaluate and treat various musculo-skeletal conditions and injuries
- Develop thorough treatment plans that are goal oriented and attainable
- Document all patient treatment and notes accordingly
- Work cohesively with on-site medical providers to ensure prompt and attentive care of all patients
- Maintain open communication with other providers to ensure high quality of care
- Design and educate patients on take-home exercises to supplement in-facility care
- Thoroughly prepare the patients for return to ADLs
- Market with local physicians and at local events
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements of a Physical Therapist:
- Must be a Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New Jersey
- Outpatient experience
- OCS/SCS/CSCS certifications as plus
- Experience in ART, Graston, MAT, FMS a plus
- Strong manual skills and a case-by-case approach to patient care
- Enthusiasm for continuing education and community involvement
- Must be a team player and collaborate with your other team members
