Developmental Child Therapist/Behavior Technician

Developing Minds Therapy Services offers Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services and utilizes the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) to provide early intervention for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Our company focuses on providing ABA services using a developmental approach and prioritizing a positive therapeutic experience for te child by teaching through natural everyday activities. ABA has been thoroughly researched and scientifically validated and is recommended by the American Pediatric Association and the National Research Council. We are committed to providing distinctive therapy services designed to make lasting socially significant changes for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder while incorporating a focus on family training and support.

Position Overview:

Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing Applied Behavior Analysis treatment programs, behavior protocols, and collecting data while working directly with the child. Therapists may provide therapy sessions in home, clinic, and/or community settings. 

Requirements:

Candidate must enjoy children and be in the process of pursuing or have graduated with a Bachelors degree in psychology, education or a related field. Applicants must have experience working with early childhood and/or grade school children. Experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is preferred, but not required.

We are currently looking for a part-time or full time employee with availability Monday-Friday from 9:00am until 6:30pm. We are happy to work around student school schedules.  DMTS does not work on weekends or holidays. The part-time position would have an option to increase to full-time in the near future if desired.

Job Type: Part-time and full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
