Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: Full Stack Engineer Location: Remote or On-Site

About Us: We are an early stage healthcare startup based out of Harvard Innovation Lab. Our AI-powered platform helps simplify the handling of medical records and improve compliance for educational institutions.

Our stack includes React, Node.js, Flutter, and MongoDB, hosted on AWS, and we leverage AI automation for our core features. If you’re excited about solving challenging technical problems and building scalable platforms, this role is for you.

Role Overview: As a Full Stack Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the entire stack of our applications—both backend services and frontend interfaces while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Backend Development: Design, implement, and maintain microservices using Node.js
  • Frontend Development: Build dynamic and responsive interfaces using React for   web and Flutter for mobile
  • AI Pipeline Integration: Work with our AI pipeline, ensuring seamless integration with the platform, optimizing its performance.
  • Cloud Infrastructure: Deploy, manage, & scale applications using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, and RDS. Experience with Amazon Amplify is a plus.
  • Data Management: Optimize and maintain our MongoDB database.
  • Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices to ensure the platform remains compliant with HIPAA, SOC2, and FERPA standards.
  • CI/CD & DevOps: Set up and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools like Codemagic and Docker.

Required Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role, with proficiency in React, Node.js, Flutter, and MongoDB.
  • Strong experience in building and maintaining AWS-hosted applications.
  • Experience developing and deploying applications
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
  • CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices, using tools like Docker & Codemagic.
  • Understanding of AI integration and experience in supporting AI-powered platforms.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
