Instructional Paraprofessional

Special Education Teacher needed for a small, innovative education program for individuals with Autism in Bergen County, NJ. The position is a full-time, 12-month position.

Qualifications:
A minimum of a BA/BS degree in Special Education, Education, Psychology or other related field is required. Preference will be given to those with experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include instructing individuals with autism, ages 3-21, in a wide variety of skill areas, including (but not limited to) language, social interaction, academic skills, daily-living skills, self-help and advocacy skills, recreation and leisure skills. Additional responsibilities include collecting and graphing data, communicating with colleagues and parents, and providing home support services to the family.
Compensation Package:
- Salary commensurate with experience (minimum starting salary $51,000)
