Entry Level Construction Supervisor

Description:

We are looking for an Entry Level Construction Supervisor to assist in overseeing a team of solar installers. The candidate will be expected eventually to be able to train staff and perform and supervise quality assurance on all disciplines of construction.  This position reports directly to the Head of Construction. This position will require travel 75-100% of the time.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering, project management, or similar
• Leadership and management skills
• Practical construction experience is a plus
• Interested in sustainability and solar energy
• High level of attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills
• Good communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Lead one or multiple crews of solar installers 
• Ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
• Oversee purchasing of electrical equipment and materials on-site.
• Coordinate on-site meetings with the customer, interconnecting utility and AHJ’s 
• Report schedule and progress of construction
• Assist in commissioning of solar farms
