Part-Time Teachers for Learning Center
We are seeking dedicated and motivated teachers to join our team at our Learning Center. There are several positions to offer, from teaching students in grades 3 through 8, 9th through 12th, and SAT/ACT prep, with assignments tailored to the individual’s experience and qualifications. Depending on your background, you may be considered for various roles, including Homework Tutor, Instructor, or Teacher specializing in SAT/ACT or AP class preparation.
Position: Part-Time Teachers
Location: Albertson, Long Island
Schedule: Monday & Wednesday 4:30 - 6:30pm, and varies based on the class
Start Date: 1st week of February 2025
Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and small group instruction in (subjects, e.g., Math, English, etc)
- Create engaging lesson plans tailored to students' needs (if needed, there is each grade’s curriculum prepared as well to utilize)
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to parents in written form
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Collaborate with the team to ensure student success
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred, but not required (or working toward degree)
- Experience in tutoring, teaching, or working with students required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for helping students of all ages reach their full potential
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:
