Field Coordinator

Overview:

NoBull Energy is rapidly expanding our Renewable Energy (RE) Projects pipeline and looking to add Field Engineer to support the team. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of solar energy system installations, ensuring projects are executed efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site surveys and assess environmental factors to determine optimal solar panel placement.
  • Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure compliance with design and engineering standards.
  • Assist in the design and engineering of solar energy systems, including layout, wiring, and electrical components.
  • Coordinate with project managers, foremen, and installation crews to schedule and prioritize tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to installation crews during project execution.
  • Perform quality control inspections and tests to verify system performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during installation or commissioning.
  • Monitor project progress and report on key metrics such as installation milestones, materials usage, and labor hours.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements on job sites.
  • Document project activities, including site conditions, installation procedures, and technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and vendors to optimize system performance and efficiency.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field preferred, but not required. 
  • Proven experience in solar energy system installation, construction, or related field preferred, but not required. 
  • Strong technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and components preferred, but not required.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards (NEC, IEEE, etc.) preferred, but not required.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with diverse stakeholders including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Willingness to relocate to jobsites as needed throughout the US.
