About the team

For this High School Math Teacher position, you’ll be working for one of our two high schools in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Magazine recently named Freire Charter High School (#18) and TECH Freire Charter High School (#26)  among the top high schools in Philadelphia. What you’ll do

As a member of Freire’s instructional team, you’ll work with high-quality, standard aligned curriculum to push critical thinking and high achievement in your classroom.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• Valid state teaching certification or the ability and willingness to obtain certification.
• Strong content knowledge
• Positive attitude, sense of humor, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get a job done
• At least 2 years of previous successful experience working with diverse student populations

Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role is $50,000 - $85,000. We offer a competitive salary based on your experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes health, dental, vision, and more. Pennsylvania employees are enrolled in Freire’s 403(b) retirement plan which includes a 5% contribution from Freire.
