Application Engineer

Position Summary
The Application Engineer works closely with the outside sales team to meet our customers needs for engineered HVAC equipment.
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to
· Supporting the outside sales team to help grow revenue.
· Work with outside sales team to prepare technical equipment selections for consulting engineers and owners to use in preparing construction plans and specifications.
· Prepare accurate and detailed price proposals to meet requirements in construction plans and specifications.
· Prepare technical submittals adequately demonstrating the HVAC products and systems to be provided.
· Prepare and release detailed technical orders to our manufacturers for the accurate production of equipment.
· Staying up to date on the technical details of the HVAC equipment we work with.
· Prepare CAD drawings for custom equipment.
Education
BS Engineering
Experience
0-2 years experience. Upcoming and recent graduates encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Customer focused
· Must thrive in a fast paced environment by prioritizing tasks
Physical Requirements
· Routine sitting, lifting, bending and standing in an office and construction environment.
· Ability to lift 25 pounds.
