Mechanical/Electrical Designer
Annex Engineering Group is a growing MEP Consulting Engineering firm located in Columbus, Ohio. We are looking for dedicated individuals committed to the growth of our business and employees in commercial, multi-family, and industrial construction design.
The Mechanical/Electrical Designer is responsible for the performance of all project tasks to meet the final products technical requirements and goals of the client while maintaining Quality standards.
- Performs site visits and surveys of existing facilities.
- Design and Draft MEP plans and construction documents.
- Possesses knowledge of fundamental Thermodynamic codes.
- Maintains collaborative departmental relationships with the project team.
- Assists senior management in QA/QC review of project submissions.
- Works closely with project teams to effectively deliver scope of work.
- Promotes, utilizes, and supports quality assurance and quality control processes to improve the quality of deliverables and reduce design errors & omissions.
Requirements
- Experience: two (2) years’ job-related experience in MEP field preferred.
- Excellent: Time management and communication skills.
- Proficiency: In Revit, AutoCAD and/or other discipline-specific programs preferred.
- Office: Familiarity with Microsoft products and small business environments a plus.
- Salary commensurate on experience and knowledge of job requirements.
