Recreation Therapist
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Recreation Therapist to join our Medical Specialties team. The ideal candidate will utilize therapeutic recreation to enhance the physical, emotional, and social well-being of patients. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote recovery and improve quality of life.
What's Available:
- 1. 0 FTE = 40 hours per week
- Monday through Friday with some flexibility in hours every day. Generally, 8:30 a.m. -5:00 p.m. Weekends optional depending on unit activities. No holidays.
- Starting pay is $23.41/hour plus more for experience
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation
- Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) within 6 months of hire date
- Valid Driver's License (DL)
- 1 year previous experience in healthcare

- Experience working with patients with Neuro-Psych diagnoses (i.e. dementia, autism, Huntington’s, geropsychiatry) as well as Med-Psych diagnoses (i.e. substance abuse, withdrawal and behavioral health diagnosis)
