Production Assistant Part-time

News2 WKRN-TV Nashville, TN, is looking for a part-time Production Assistant responsible for various television production duties required to record scenes for live and recorded broadcast. They provide support to production staff prior to, during and after the production of a program.

• Run teleprompter during live broadcast and other programming
• Set up and maintain studio for broadcasts (ex. mics, studio cleaning)
• Acquires and verifies commercials and all other materials are ready to air; research and contact appropriate sources for missing material
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements & Skills:

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines, and other office equipment.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
