Position Summary

The Rotating Equipment Service Engineer focuses on the on-site installation, service, and troubleshooting of gas turbine packages, emphasizing advanced ADRE vibration analysis and rotating equipment support. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise to enhance operational efficiency, support field execution teams, and contribute to workforce development in alignment with PROENERGY’s strategic goals. This role will provide service engineering support across Aero Advantage, PowerFLX, and O&M business lines.

Position Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site installation, alignment, and service of gas turbine packages, rotating equipment, and BOP plant components.
  • Utilize advanced ADRE vibration analysis to troubleshoot and resolve post-installation and operational issues.
  • Balance rotating equipment to meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Provide expertise in ADRE-level data collection, vibration spectrum, and phase analysis.
  • Collaborate with in-house engineering teams to address mechanical problem dispositions and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Support field execution teams with immediate responses to airfoil, combustor, and other mechanical troubleshooting requirements.
  • Improve turnaround times for troubleshooting and disposition decisions, enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Mentor and upskill maintenance personnel by sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
  • Develop and deliver training programs focusing on controls, instrumentation systems, and vibration analysis.
  • Establish standards for troubleshooting, data analysis, and equipment alignment.
  • Contribute to the scalability of technical support as operations expand, including the addition of new LM6000 installations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in rotating equipment service and maintenance.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered to meet the required qualifications.
  • Hands-on experience with ADRE or similar vibration monitoring systems.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa.
  • Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete pre-employment drug screen and background check

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of ADRE-level data collection and vibration analysis.
  • Expertise in vibration spectrum and phase data interpretation.
  • Proficiency with machine alignment equipment and techniques.
  • Experience balancing rotating equipment (e.g., pumps, motors, blowers).
  • Strong understanding of gas turbine engines and BOP plant systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical, alignment, and vibration-related issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with field teams and engineering staff.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
